How to Install Custom Emblems Like a Pro
So you've finally upgraded to a set of engraved car parts. Now comes the critical part: the installation. A poor install can ruin a premium look. Follow this guide to ensure your new badges stay secure and look factory-perfect.
01. The Removal: Use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive of your factory badge. Use fishing line or dental floss to gently "saw" through the adhesive behind the emblem.
02. Surface Prep: This is the most important step. Use isopropyl alcohol or an adhesive remover to ensure the area is 100% free of residue and wax.
03. Alignment: Use painter's tape to create a "level" guideline. Measure twice, stick once!
